From January to April 2025, China's lithium-ion battery (hereinafter referred to as "lithium battery") industry will continue to grow. According to the lithium battery industry standard announcement enterprise information and industry association estimates, the total output of lithium batteries in the country from January to April exceeded 473GWh, an increase of 68% year-on-year.

        Battery link, January-April storage lithium battery production of more than 110GWh, new energy vehicles with power-type lithium battery loading volume of about 184GWh. From January to April, the total export volume of lithium batteries in China reached 155.4 billion yuan, up 25% year on year.

        In the 1-stage material segment, the output of cathode materials, anode materials, diaphragms, and electrolytes from January to April were about 1.15 million tons, 760000 tons, 8 billion square meters, and 470000 tons, respectively, with a year-on-year increase of more than 40%.

        Second-order materials, January-April battery-grade lithium carbonate production of 270000 tons, up 60% YoY, battery-grade lithium hydroxide production of 90000 tons, down 14% YoY. The average prices of battery-grade lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide (micropowder grade) in January-April were 74000 yuan/tonne and 76000 yuan/tonne, respectively.
