Cyclohexylamine is an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H13N. It is a colorless to yellow liquid that is soluble in water and miscible in most organic solvents. It is mainly used as a solvent and can also be used to produce desulfurizers, rubber antioxidants, vulcanization accelerators, plastic and textile chemical additives, boiler water treatment agents, metal corrosion inhibitors, emulsifiers, preservatives, anti-static agents, latex coagulants, petroleum additives, fungicides, insecticides, and dye intermediates.
